Practise what you preach-okojie tells Obj

he Archbishop Emeritus of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, Anthony Cardinal Okogie, has applauded former President Olusegun Obasanjo on his recent comment on the Nigerian civil war. Okogie in a

statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Lagos urged Obasanjo to match his words with action.

He said that for such a call to be meaningful, there was also the need for the country’s leaders to forgive one another and work together for the peaceful co-existence of the country.

Obasanjo, at a reception in his honour by the PDP, South West Zone, urged Nigerians to put behind them the harrowing experience of the Nigerian civil war and work for the unity of the country.
